If you find completely random passwords too hard to remember - try using a memorable word but swap some of the letters for similar numbers - i.e swap:

Letter
Swap For
o / O
0
l / L
1
s / S
5

Then add 2-4 numbers at the end - for instance:

Insecure Version
More Secure Version
tom
t0m4545
richard
r1chard87
julia
jul1a223
london
l0nd0n454
newyork
newy0rk88

For even better security use two memorable words (again with some of the letters swapped for numbers) and put 2-4 numbers at the end or between the two words. For example:

Insecure Version
Secure Version
tom
t0m23app1e
richard
R1chard98c0ffee
julia
Jul1am0nkey35
london
l0nd0Nph0ne32
newyork
